Not only does The Pooch Pad take pride in our customer service and hospitality, but also in our involvement in the community. The Pooch Pad partners with many local rescue groups to sponsor adoption fees, foster, and participate in, host, and sponsor fundraising events.

All year around, The Pooch Pad opens a Presidential suite for up to two dogs to be fostered in through For the Love of Strays. Periodically through the year, there is ocassionally also fosters from other rescue organizations, such as Schnauzer Rescue of Texas. By doing this, The Pooch Pad has helped save over 50 dogs from  animal control and the streets.

The Pooch Pad donates to a variety of charities in the community. By sponsoring adoption fees for animal rescue groups, we are not only able to help the organization, but also aid in creating a happily ever after for both the animal and its new family. More recently, The Pooch Pad has sponsored spay and neuter fees at the Cattery's Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinic in order to aid those in the community in getting their animals fixed, working to help end the never ending number of homeless dogs and cats.

The Pooch Pad not only sponsors events, but also hosts them! Our annual Pooch Wash, which through the past 10 years has helped raise over $10,000 for a number of different local rescue groups. Through sponsoring events, we have been able to help organizations continue to raise thousands of dollars to continue their much needed work.

Spicy is a 10 month old Lab mix! She is full of energy and spunk! She is currently being fostered with us here at The Pooch Pad! She is a high energy girl who loves to run around and play with toys of all sorts and then curl up in her human's lap for a nice nap! She is currently in the process of learning basic commands such as sit, stay, and walking on a leash. Spicy was picked up as a stray and was diagnosed with heartworms, but don't worry - the rescue is covering all of the expenses and she will be healthy in no time!! She is up for adoption through For the Love of Strays. Her adoption fee is $130 and covers her spay, shots, microchip, and heartworm treatment.
